Glass-gems Exploration by Multidisciplinary Methods, Analyses and Experiments

The GEMMAE project

In collaboration with the National Archeological Museum of Aquileia, the GEMMAE project is born as the cooperation of three university:

Department of Physics "Giuseppe Occhialini" of Milano Bicocca University,
Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences of Pavia University,
Department of Historical Studies of Milano La Statale University.

The project's name is the acronym of its type: Glass-gems Exploration by Multidisciplinary Methods, Analyses, and Experiments.

Admissions to remarkable research infrastructure have been obtained: AGLAE (Louvre Museum, Paris, FR), and MOLAB-ERIHS.it for in situ measurement.
